My Story

Many people come to therapy when they feel lost, stuck, or unsure of themselves. Others simply want a space to reflect and reconnect with who they are. Whatever brings you here, my role is to walk alongside you — to help you make sense of your experiences, deepen your self-awareness, and move forward with greater ease, confidence, and self-compassion.

I feel privileged to do this work and to witness the courage it takes to reach out for support. My hope is that you’ll find our sessions to be a space where you can breathe a little easier, explore at your own pace, and begin to feel more grounded and connected to yourself.

I’m Clare, and I'm a therapist based in Limerick city. I’m passionate about the power of therapy to bring understanding, relief, and lasting change.

For me, therapy isn’t just about talking through problems — it’s about being met with compassion and acceptance, exactly as you are. I believe that feeling heard and understood can be the starting point for real healing and growth.

I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a BSc (Honours) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College. I am also a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) — Ireland’s leading professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists. My Approach

Once that foundation of trust is built, I integrate elements from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and compassion-focused therapy, depending on what feels most helpful. Each session is a collaboration, rooted in respect, empathy, and genuine care.

My approach to therapy is integrative, in that I draw from different therapeutic models to best support your unique needs.

At the heart of my work is a person-centred and client-led philosophy — you are the expert on your life, and therapy unfolds at your pace. My role is to provide a calm, secure, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings safely.
